Clothing should be comfortable and appropriate for the weather. Comfortable walking shoes are especially important, as many walking routes may include uneven or historic stone surfaces.
When visiting religious pilgrimage sites, visitors’ clothing must strictly comply with local dress requirements. Head coverings should not be neglected.
Transfer to the starting point of the excursion and return transfer to your hotel are not included in the tour price. Please inquire and book these services separately if desired.
However, in most cases, the excursion starting point can easily be reached by public transportation.
Please make sure to bring drinking water with you.
We begin our walk early in the morning at the famous Clock Square in Jaffa and wander through the narrow streets of the ancient city. We will make wishes on the Zodiac Bridge, toss a coin into a fountain, and see the famous Floating Orange Tree. There will also be opportunities to take memorable photos with Tel Aviv “in the palm of your hand” and sit beside the old cannons overlooking the sea.
We will pause for a short break to experience the pulse of the eastern city atmosphere. Guests may enjoy traditional coffee and sweets, explore the colorful flea market, taste local ice cream, or refresh themselves with freshly squeezed juice.
We then continue our walk through Tel Aviv.
Our route passes through the charming historic neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, where walls are decorated with street art and windows overflow with bougainvillea. Many of the most vibrant photographs shared by our travelers are taken here.
Along the way, we will hear stories about the people who founded Tel Aviv and see their faces preserved in photographs and mosaics inside the Meir Shalom Tower.
We continue through one of the city’s earliest districts — Nachalat Binyamin — where traditional tailor workshops, unusual fabric-transport bicycles, hidden courtyards, and rooftop terraces still survive.
Finally, we arrive at the lively and colorful Carmel Market, where the excursion concludes. Guests may continue exploring independently, purchase fresh fruit, enjoy lunch, or stroll through the center of Tel Aviv at their leisure.
