Catholic Pilgrimage Tour to the Holy Land

A spiritual journey through the sacred places of Israel connected with the life of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, the Apostles, and the history of the early Church.

This pilgrimage combines prayer, participation in Holy Masses, visits to the most important Christian shrines, and immersion in the unique atmosphere of the Holy Land. Pilgrims will walk the streets of Jerusalem, pray in Bethlehem and Nazareth, visit the Sea of Galilee where Christ preached and performed miracles, and experience the beauty of Mount Carmel and the Mediterranean coast.

Throughout the program, Holy Masses are celebrated in Catholic churches and sanctuaries, making this journey not only a cultural and historical tour, but also a profound spiritual experience and an opportunity to deepen one’s faith.

Day 2 ✧ Bethlehem

Visit to the Church of the Nativity, built over the birthplace of Jesus Christ.

Visit to the Milk Grotto, associated with the Holy Family’s stay in Bethlehem.

Bethlehem Fields

The fields where Ruth met Boaz. It was also here that King David spent his childhood and youth and where he was anointed king by the Prophet Samuel.

Shepherds’ Church

Visit to the Shepherds’ Church — an underground church built in the cave where, on the night of Christ’s Nativity, angels appeared to the shepherds and proclaimed the birth of the Savior to the world.

Day 3 ✧ Jerusalem and Ein Karem

Mount of Olives

Panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives.
Visit to the traditional site of the Ascension of Jesus Christ.

Dominus Flevit Church

Visit to the Franciscan church Dominus Flevit, built on the place where Christ wept over the future fate of Jerusalem.

Church of Saint Mary Magdalene

Visit to the Russian Orthodox Church of Saint Mary Magdalene Equal-to-the-Apostles.

Gethsemane

The Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees.

Visit to the Basilica of the Agony on the site of Christ’s Prayer in Gethsemane, and to the Tomb of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Ein Karem

Visit to Ein Karem, the birthplace of Saint John the Baptist.

Church of the Visitation

The site commemorating the meeting between the Virgin Mary and Elizabeth.

Spring of the Virgin Mary

Visit to the traditional Spring of the Virgin Mary.

Day 4 ✧ The Old City of Jerusalem

Church of Saint Anne

The church built on the traditional site of the Birth of the Virgin Mary.

Via Dolorosa — The Way of the Cross

The Via Dolorosa begins near the Convent of the Sisters of Zion, located on the site of the former Antonia Fortress, where the Roman Praetorium once stood.

Lithostrotos

The stone-paved courtyard of the Roman Praetorium where Christ stood before the judgment of Pontius Pilate.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, including:
— the Chapel of the Stripping of the Garments

Western Wall

Visit to the Western Wall, the holiest accessible site in Judaism.

Dormition Abbey

Visit to the Benedictine Abbey of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, built on the traditional site of the house of Saint John the Evangelist.

Day 5 ✧ Jericho, the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea

The traditional site associated with the New Testament parable told by Jesus about the Good Samaritan.

Judean Desert

Journey through the Judean Desert with a view of the Monastery of Saint George of Choziba nestled within the cliffs of the desert canyon.

Monastery of the Temptation

Visit to the Monastery of the Temptation on the Mount of the Forty Days (Qarantal), where Jesus fasted and was tempted in the wilderness.

Dead Sea

Time for rest and swimming in the Dead Sea.

Day 6 ✧ The Sea of Galilee and the Ministry of Christ

Mount of Beatitudes

Visit to the Basilica of the Sermon on the Mount, the traditional site where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.
Holy Mass on the Mount of Beatitudes.

Tabgha

Visit to the Benedictine church in Tabgha, built on the site of the miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes.

Site of the Miraculous Catch of Fish

Visit to the place associated with the miraculous catch described in the Gospels.

Mensa Christi — Church of the Primacy of Peter

The church commemorating the appearance of the Risen Lord to His disciples and the confirmation of the Apostle Peter’s primacy after the Resurrection.

Capernaum

Visit to Capernaum, known as the “City of Jesus,” where many of Christ’s miracles were performed.

Yardenit

Opportunity for immersion in the waters of the Jordan River at Yardenit.

— Boat ride on the “Jesus Boat” across the Sea of Galilee.

— Visit to a fish restaurant on the shores of the Sea of Galilee serving the famous “St. Peter’s Fish,” traditionally associated with the Apostles led by Saint Peter.

Day 7 ✧ Mount Tabor, Nazareth and Cana of Galilee

Visit to Mount Tabor and the Basilica of the Transfiguration, commemorating the Transfiguration of Christ.

Nazareth

Visit to the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church of Saint Joseph the Carpenter.

Cana of Galilee

Visit to the Basilica of the First Miracle, commemorating the Wedding Feast at Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine.

Dinner and overnight stay in Galilee.

Day 8 ✧ Haifa and the Mediterranean Coast

Haifa — Mount Carmel

Visit to Mount Carmel in Haifa and to the main monastery of the Carmelite Order — Stella Maris.
Holy Mass.

Transfer and accommodation at a hotel in Netanya on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Time for rest and swimming in the sea.

Dinner and overnight stay in Netanya.

Day 9 ✧ Departure

Transfer to the airport.
